Watching the Geminids Meteor Shower 2017
Few of our RT Pune members decided for star gazing (Geminids Meteor Shower 2017), location was a problem! So we decided to go to Pawna lake, then decided to take Kanhe village route because of less light in that area! After all this discussion we finally landed on Slope of hell! One of the dangerous route till date! Route was scary and risky through the jungle, elevated slopes and dew with dry grass on the way, skipping pot holes and so many stones fallen on the way, we some how reached Midway and decided to go up. As the elevation increased challenges also increased! There were many instances when we applied brakes bikes were slipping backwards on the slippery slopes!
We parked our bikes and decided to trek to reach up! Then we finally saw this amazing view of Geminids Meteor Shower 2017! Some moments couldn’t be captured! We enjoyed every moment happening up in the sky! Meteors shower, Moon rise, chilled winters, trans music, boomshiva it was all fun! It was a thrilling experience! Amazing people around, cheers to them! Krishna Raghunathan, Prateek, and other members who made this happen! Amazing photography by Dhirendra Singh Rajpurohit and Krishna Raghunathan !
Kamal Chodhri sirji, Vikrant Chaudhari Shrikant Joshi missed u guys and other members of RTPune!
In the end we realized coming down the slope of hell was much more risky than going up!
