RT Ghaziabad Lansdowne Expedition

A story of mountains, turns, and brotherhood. RT Ghaziabad set out for their first-ever mountain expedition to Lansdowne, a quiet, calm and composed city in the Heart of Mountains. 10 Members started from the meeting point in Ghaziabad, while the eleventh one was still asleep, due to extended work hours while the rest of them were able to dodge our bosses successfully, so much was the excitement for the ride.

The ride started on time, with very less traffic we reached Khatauli, a small town in Muzaffarnagar district, cruising 30 km through the lush green villages we reached the planned breakfast location which was not yet opened and lead us to Shiva Dhaba, where we had some spicy parathas and tea, meanwhile our eleventh rider directly joined us here.

From here, the roads till Lansdowne were smooth with scenic beauty on both sides and we reached the destination around 2:00 PM. We stayed at Samskara & Samara Homestay, an amazing place to spend some quality time with your friends and family. We had booked a dormitory for all of us because for the love of bunk beds which was much comfortable. Coming to the food, they served delicious food, cooked with patience and love.

We had our lunch and a quick snap on the bunk beds and then went for a quick city tour of Lansdowne and visited Tip & Top Point, Sunset point, some of us were lucky and saw the sunset while others just ringed bells in the temple. As soon as the sun was down we returned to our homestay and over dinner; all members shared their stories over bonfire and then slept peacefully.

The next morning, we packed our bags and started our journey with a puncture but the good thing that happened was, we identified an amazing place just next to the road where we had an amazing breakfast. Post which we visited Siddhbali Temple in Kotdwar from there we took the same route and returned to our respective homes safely.

2 days, 11 people, more than 500+ km ride, a good memorable ride, that’s what we do at #RoadThrill #Meet #Travel #Discover.

See you in next ride 🙂 #RTFFRT #RTGhaziabad #LansdowneExpedition
